Shrink Ovens
APPLICATION
Thermal heating of shrink tubing for a variety of applications such as cables, electronic parts, mechanical parts, complete assemblies, etc. The uses for shrink ovens are so varied that listing all the applications would take pages. The ovens to cover these applications are just as varied. LuminDynamics can configure an oven to meet your specific application.
EQUIPMENT
LuminDynamics offers four general types of ovens to satisfy the above application.
They are:
- Complete Pass Thru Ovens
- Partial Pass Thru Ovens
- Selected Batch Ovens
- "Insti-Heat" Shrink Oven
The Complete Pass Thru Oven (CPTSO)
This oven is a conveyor oven with enclosed tunnel. The complete product is exposed to the oven temperature.
The Partial Pass Thru Oven (PPTSO)
This is also a conveyor oven, however the conveyor extends both inside and outside the heat chamber. This allows only part of the product to be exposed to the oven temperature while the balance of the product is outside the heat zone.
The Selected Batch Shrink Oven (SBSO)
This oven is similar in concept to the PPTO in that only part of the product is exposed to the oven temperature. The balance remains outside the chamber. The SBSO has no conveyor. The product is placed in the unit by opening the clamshell door, installing the product, and closing the door for a preset period of time.
"Insti-Heat" Shrink Oven (IHSO)
Insti-Heat (IHSO) is designed to replace existing heat guns. (IHSO) provide a quick, clean, quite, cool alternative to the heat generated by standard heat guns. The (IHSO) is activated by a foot switch. Units may also be equipped with a timer that presets the heat time.
